Welcome to my Astrophotography Website

I hope you enjoy looking at some of the night sky objects I have managed to capture over the last 2 years

Having always had a very keen interest in Astronomy it wasn't

until relatively recently that I got my first Telescope, which was a

110mm Newtonian Reflector. The views this gave me only served

to increase my interest.

My next Telescope was a 200mm Newtonian Reflector and with

the increase in aperture the views were even more stunning, it

also enabled me to take my first picture. Holding my camera

phone up to the eyepiece was not ideal but it made me realise

that Astrophotograhy was the direction I wanted to take the

hobby.

Since then there have been a few changes, I now use a 80mm Refractor for imaging and I mainly concentrate on the astrophotography side of the hobby. I'm very lucky that I have a dark sky site that I travel to where I meet up with my local astronomy club. Dark skies make a huge difference to the objects your able to image as apposed to imaging from a town centre with all of it's light pollution

It has been a steep learning curve but i'm glad I persevered, if you are just starting out with Astrophotography you may feel a little daunted but with time and patients anyone can capture some truely stunning images
